Jo-Jo's "Livin Like A Kid" Book of Poetry was inspired by Joey's
five granddaughters and watching them as they were playing and growing.
The love she has for her children and beloved husband has been
a definite influence in her passion for writing poetry.
Joey named her character Jo-Jo which was an affectionate childhood
nickname for her.
The poems reflect her self-worth, fun loving attitude with children
and especially of her unconditional love for all living creatures.
She has shown us through her writings how children can teach
us all about love and caring for one another as true connecting
souls.
How to love with an open heart and have fun with just the little
joys of life knowing you are capable of doing any thing you want
and make a true difference in the world.
Book illustrations created by Joey and her granddaughters, Lindsey
& Mandy Schwindt, and Paige & Hanna Grunewald. Theresa Grunewald,
the oldest was Joey's first granddaughter and inspired her to write
poetry
